Adobe Photoshop
- An introductory course on the premiere image editing software package
available today. The course is intended for the beginner to intermediate
user. Upon completion, individuals will be able to create and manipulate
images using a variety of tools and techniques, as well as being able to
adjust and enhance digital images.
Adobe (Macromedia) Flash
- Adobe's (Macromedia) Flash is the industry de facto standard for Web animation.
This course focuses on providing the beginner
to intermediate user the knowledge to develop Flash movies for the
Web and other
multimedia presentations.
Adobe (Macromedia) Fireworks
- Adobe's (Macromedia) Fireworks is a graphics tool designed
specifically for the creation an Web graphics. This course will
provide the student with skills needed to create outstanding graphics,
gif animations, and various interactive buttons, pop-up menus, and images.
Adobe (Macromedia) Dreamweaver
- Macromedia's Dreamweaver is a popular, and extensively used IDE for
Web development and provides both visual layout and text-based editing
features. This course is focused on providing the beginner and intermediate
user the knowledge and skills to develop effective,
user-friendly Web sites using Dreamweaver.

Web Authoring I
- An introductory course on Web design teaching the basics
of Web design and HTML/XHTML. Upon completion, individuals will
be able to construct and publish a professional-looking site
using HTML/XHTML.

Web Authoring II
- This course provides students with the knowledge to create and use
advanced features provided with HTML/XHTML, to include style sheets,
and an introduction
to scripts and applets.

Web Usability
- It is a simple fact, if Web site visitors cannot find what they are
looking for, they will not return. This course provides students with simple,
common sense approachs to assessing and evaluating Web site usability and
friendliness.
Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)
- This course will give the student a basic understanding, and practical
application, of Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). With recent HTML/XHTML
standards deprecating formatting tags, style sheets are becoming a requirement
for all Web designers.

Enhancing Web Pages with JavaScript
- This is a "hands-on, how-to" course designed to give students the
knowledge to enhance Web sites and HTML documents using JavaScript.
Using XML
- XML is rapidly becoming "the language of the Web," and for the transfer of
data in all environments. This course addresses those skills needed to immediately
apply and use XML. Not a theory course, or one delving into DTD's and schemas,
this course is geared toward using XML documents as a means to enhance Web site and ease
development.
Introduction to Programming Using Java
- An introductory course teaching individuals how to program using the
Java programming language. Students are taught primary programming skills
such as: algorithms, operators, control structures, and input/output
processing.
Java Programming Fundamentals
- This course is intended for individuals with some programming and an
understanding of programming logic and control structures. Among topics
covered are included: Java language syntax and structure, Classes,
Inheritance, Packages, User Interfaces (GUI), Event Handling, Exception
Handling, Applets, and an Introduction to I/O streams, and Threads.
Java Programming Intermediate
- Intermediate Java programming focuses on graphics and graphical user
interface (GUI) components. Prior Java programming experience is desired,
but not essential. Topics covered will include:
AWT, Swing components,
event handling, and applet processing.
Java Programming - User Interface Processing (Swing)
- This course is focused on the development of graphical user interfaces
(GUI) components, and their implementation. Emphasis will be placed
on
Swing components and their actions, event handling,
and animations.
